In the midst of all this mayhem created by the Al Jazeera (Gold Mafia) documentary, one thing has again come out, that national resources are only benefitting a few individuals, whereas as United Freedom Party, we do not stand to determine the facts around the issues raised.

The United Freedom Party (UFP) – a newly formed opposition party has raised concern about the spiralling exchange rate saying it is impoverishing most workers.

The foreign exchange rate is hovering around US1-450RTGS on the black market and United Freedom Party (UFP) in its Workers’ Day statement, said the development has had a negative effect on the workers’ welfare.

 - - Mutare Accident: United Freedom Party blasts police

A new opposition outfit, United Freedom Party has accused the police of being complicit in the fatal accident near Mutare.

The accident occurred on Tuesday along Vumba Road when a commuter omnibus plying the Mutare-Chigodora route veered off the road and overturned after a police officer allegedly threw a spike. According to UFP, such an act is an indication of the lack of professionalism in the police service.
